NRS PTK Recreational Paddle - Aluminum Straight Shaft

Product Description

The NRS PTK Whitewater Aluminum Straight Shaft Paddle puts a high-strength, airplane-grade aluminum shaft and two asymmetrical fiberglass blades in your hands at a mere 42 ounces. The asymmetrical blade design reduces twisting on the paddle shaft, while the slightly-spooned blades increase the power of your stroke. Since controlling a paddle at different angles can be hard, NRS indexed the shaft of the PTK Whitewater Paddle, which means they shaped the shaft so that your right hand grips easily and so that you can naturally feel the blade angle without even looking. This one-piece kayak paddle has a 45-degree feather and right-hand control only.

5Cannot be beat for the price
By Paul Cooper
I bought this paddle to replace an NRS PTR paddle that I used for two years then lost it somewhere. This paddle is surprising how light and stiff it is. Not as light as a high end paddle but not as heavy as you would expect a low cost white water paddle to be. Paddles that cost three times as much are nicer, but not three times nicer!

4Very good for its very low price.
By Kevin Pope
Surprisingly light and stiff for an inexpensive paddle. Its not head-to-head competitive with the high-end paddles but is a good utility paddle for whitewater and excellent if you consider the very low price. Makes a good loaner or backup and works well for newbies that aren't sure they will be in the sport long enough or often enough to shell out big bucks.

4NRS PTK Paddle
By Worthington K. Bromley
This paddle is well made and functions very well. Although it does not break into two pieces like many of the other paddles, it will still fit in most vehicles and its quality makes up for that inconvenience
